Held each year over two days, Dublin’s Web Summit is Europe’s largest tech conference

In 2012, some 200 international speakers and 3,000 delegates from over 50 countries attended the event. With increased attendance from 2011 when 1,500 delegates participated in the fledgling conference, the Dublin Web Summit continues to grow in relevance and importance. It is also helping to solidify Dublin’s place as Europe’s Internet capital. Speakers at the 2012 event included founders and senior executives from Skype, SmartThings, Gogobot, Jolicloud, PayPal, Mozilla, and other industry leaders.

From CEOs and founders of some of the world’s most important technology firms, including Skype, Twitter and YouTube, to small start-up businesses, the Dublin Web Summit is reinforcing the city’s place as an important and emerging player in Ireland and Europe’s technology sector.
